Stupid server making me double post when all I want to do is edit.

MS doesn't necessarily demand online multiplayer, but it is mandated that all games at least exhibit Live Awareness. I'm sure that's what you meant, but I just wanted to clarify in case someone decided to call you out on a technicality.

What is this E3 07 you speak of?

Since Wallyworld typically undercuts everybody else by a slim margin, it's not hard to deduce that it will retail for $299. That seems to have been the price everyone else speculated that they'd have. No big surprise, but still nice to know.

They were probably saving everything for this month. Since there are, for current lack of a better quick explanation, a Japanese E3 and a Microsoft only E3 both going on this month, they probably just figured they'd hold out and give us tons of cool stuff all at once.

My argument was that the disc space was not the limiting factor. It may very well have been load times due to disc read speed that limited this game. In that case, the PS3 may or may not have an advantage in this regard depending upon whom you want to believe about read speeds. As for me, I'll wait and find out before passing judgement. All I know is that if this game is indeed coming to PS3, a lot of people who think RPG means JRPG will be pleasantly surprised come this November.

Why do I have to look at it your way? Is your way somehow inherently better than mine? My way seems more obvious and therefore is quite possibly the right way. If hardware limitations forced them to make the game a certain way, you can be sure they would have done everything possible to use the limiting factor to its fullest extent, i.e. used up at least 7 - 7.5 GB of disc space. As that is not the case, I'm going to conclude that disc space was not the limiting factor.

"If you guys thought Oblivion was great on Xbox 360, which it is, itll be even better on the PS3, cause now Bethesda doesnt have to clip down ideas, they can put the whole thing on 1 disc that they couldnt on Xbox 360. Its gonna be sweet."

What the hell are you talking about? The game wasn't even 5 GB. They could have fit tons more stuff on the disc.

This game looks sweet. It's games like this, Castle Crashers, Marble Blast Ultra, etc. that make me thankful for Xbox Live Arcade. Thanks for the video Cyclonus.

When DR released and did as well as it did, I remember reading an article saying that Capcom wasn't expecting it to be so successful. When they saw how successful it was, they decided to change their 360 strategy in order to capitalize on the system. What this means to the 360 community is more Capcom games for us. If that means more awesome games like DR and Lost Planet, that is good news indeed.

When MS got sued by Immersion for their rumble tech, they paid up and then bought a big chunk of the company's stock. If they end up settling this by paying this company, they may do the same thing here.

Make that "Games for the PS1 had already gotten to the point where they required multiple discs."

I understand the points you're trying to get across and to an extent agree with you. 360 games may eventually come to the point where you'll need more than one disc to play some very large games and that does kind of suck for us 360 owners. However, Sony including a DVD drive in the PS2, unlike the current DVD9/BRD debate, was undisputable common sense and therefore should not have been included in your debate. Here's why.

Games for the PS2 had already gotten to the point where ...

This may be cool. I wonder what kind of connectivity it will offer with the 360 if any. 30 GB may be a bit small considering Apple just released an 80 gig iPod, which I'm pretty sure has a larger, brighter screen than the ones that came before. Of course, I've got between 150 and 200 albums and several videos on my 30 gig iPod and it's just past 1/3 full, so maybe all that extra space on the new iPod doesn't matter. Music sharing sounds cool, but how many people will actually take advanta...

Back when PS1 was king JRPGs made up over half of my game collection. Eventually I got burnt out on them (cookie cutter stories and characters, boring repetitive random battles, unplayable CG videos being the high points of the game rather than the gameplay, specialized characters with very limited customization.)
I haven't played one since FFX (which I didn't like much) but I've been tossing around the idea of checking one out recently. This may end up being the one.

I hear you there. With all the good games coming out in the next few months even I am going to be broke more than I'd like to admit.

When buying a used game, the original owner can't play it anymore. They had to make that sacrifice to get money in exchange for the disc. When borrowing a friend's copy, again, your friend can't use it while you have it and therefore had to make that sacrifice. Either way, the publisher and developer got paid for the original sale of the disc.

When buying a copied disc, nobody had to make that sacrifice. The developer and publisher didn't get a cent from the manufacture of the ...

You can put multiple gamertags on an Xbox 360 as well. One for each person, just as you describe.
